Christian recording artist Bruce Carroll was a huge hit at the International Shelby Conference and Tuesday he stopped by to say, “thanks.”
Bruce, a Grammy and Dove Award-winner, visited Shelby’s headquarters in Cordova, Tenn. along with his manager, Jim Montgomery. The two presented Shelby General Manager Steve Pruitt with an autographed copy of the lyrics to a song Bruce co-wrote called “The Great Exchange” which he also performed at ISC in June.
Bruce joined fellow Dove Award Winner Ellie Holcomb and Pastor Ken Bevel of Georgia as guest worship leaders at the conference which was back in Memphis this year for its 30th anniversary. Each of the guests lead one of the morning worship sessions that kicked off each day of the conference.
Bruce expressed his enthusiasm and gratitude for being involved with such a Christ-centered event and Steve shared the feelings of many attendees who were moved by Bruce’s performance. In addition to his career as a recording artist, Bruce was formerly a Worship Leader and Music Ministry leader at Hope Church in Memphis.
Bruce Carroll was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
